Groceries
By afternoon, the grocery aisles are where Taniti turns practical: milk, bread, fruit, and a quick scan for whatever you forgot in your suitcase.
Taniti has two supermarkets, two smaller groceries, and one 24-hour convenience store, which is enough to cover the basics and not much beyond them. You can shop for dinner, snacks, and toiletries without trouble, but specialty items are harder to come by, so people with favorite coffee, spice blends, or breakfast cereal usually bring their own. The supermarkets close by 9, and the whole setup runs a little expensive compared with the mainland, but it does the job.
Mara's tip is that the all-night option is Nene's, and the owner knows everybody's business. That makes it the best place for emergency groceries and the easiest place to leave with milk, batteries, and a fresh rumor all at once.
Nene's: 24 hours
Supermarkets: close at 9pm
